Beautiful Zeke, whose unusual mixed breed clearly shows a lineage of Daschund in his long body structure and Vizsla in his face with golden green eyes and mauve pink nose. Happily, Zeke is also a rescued pup! After celebrating his recent birthday, Zeke is very busy preparing for the upcoming 14th Annual Mighty Texas Dog Walk. He has also enjoyed the uniquely wonderful facilities at Barking Hound Village kennel that is proud to work with DFW Rescue Me offering pets "A New Leash on Life" as well as Paws in the City of Dallas to foster dogs until they find new homes. This portrait of adorable little Chrissy was painted in memoriam, as are so many of my pet portraits; I always feel honored to fulfill such a request especially from a fellow artist. I just love her rosey pink nose with fawn and white coloring, and a hint of her pink collar is so complementary. Chrissy was loved by everyone who met her, and one look into those big, beautiful eyes I can absolutely see why!
