Schatzi is my sister's spunky little Dachshund who loves to run like lightening; as tiny as she is, we have to get out of her way! She prances around the house carrying her favorite toy, which is anything new, has a wardrobe of clothes and accessories including a cute red raincoat and even has a float for the pool. She'll do anything for a kibble, and when it comes to her Christmas stocking, she'll bark at it for days until Santa fills it. She's quite a spritely handful, as you can see Mary holding her, above. For special occasions, not only is Mary's attire color coordinated to her tablescape, but Schatzi's is, too! In this oil portrait she's shown wearing her first set of pearls, actually her mother's...afterall, what girl doesn't love "bing"? This charming portrait was a birthday gift from Mary's hubby, Bob.

FOOTPRINTS
One night I had a dream--I dreamed I was walking
along the beach with the Lord and across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints, one belonged to me and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before me,I looked back at the footprints in the sand.I noticed that many times along the path of my life,there was only one set of footprints.I also noticed that it happened at the very lowestand saddest times in my life.This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,you would walk with me all the way, but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my lifethere is only one set of footprints. "I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,you should leave me." The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trial and suffering. "When you saw only one set of footprints,it was then that I carried you."

Looking After Them...

To have the priviledge of being alive, healthy and free means one must have a certain responsibility to help those who are less fortunate. In that sentiment, I've recently added a new genre to my portfolio, animal paintings, with a portion of proceeds ranging from 10% to 100% being donated to numerous smaller animal charities and rescue shelters as well as larger organizations such as Humane Society of the United States, World Society for the Protection of Animals, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and so many more, for their use in educating and aggressively pursuing laws that protect animal rights on a global level.

I invite you to join me in this effort as it only takes a little from all of us to make a huge difference in the world . . . the lives of so many depend on us!

Absolutely mind boggling statistics reveal that every year in the United States alone, over three million dogs and cats are killed in shelters for one reason . . . no one wanted them. Healthy, lovable and begging for a chance. Through your purchase between 10% and 100% of proceeds help support these shelters. Even a small donation can help save a life. Or just imagine if everyone adopted one or two lovable cats, dogs, rabbits from their local shelter, how many could be spared and given the life they so deserve.

Many of these shelters also accept very desperate animals who have been rescued from lives of neglect and abuse in so many forms. They need immediate medical attention so shelters always need a little extra funding for such emergencies. These people who work firsthand helping animals cannot be commended enough for their guts, grit and determination when all odds are against them, particularly in this current economy. It is now that they need our help more than ever.

Also, I donate to larger international charities that work on a global level to establish and uphold laws making animal abuse a crime. These charities educate the public about behind the scenes abuse such as rodeos, dog races, horse races, bull fighting, dog fighting, cock fighting, cosmetic industry animal testing, medical industry animal test, puppy mills, breeders, etc. There are so many venues which need help from people like you and me. Thank you for your continued support in this new and very personal venture!

I can only say that our world possesses the beauty. . . I am merely a tool by which to humbly communicate His eartly gifts in paint.

We humans are so in love with this Earth and all her abundance of life that we have an insatiable desire to hold her close at every turn, whether it be in a garden or city windowbox, a purring kitten, playful pup or painting of same hanging on a wall to warm our otherwise blank manmade spaces.

Earth's beauty warms the heart; we artists merely aid in that process.

WHAT IS THAT?? BOILING SKY ARTIFICIAL CLOUDS

It's a bird . . . it's a plane . . . it's . . . CHEM TRAILS ? ? ? YES, and it's been going on for over a decade. The United States government has been running dozens of individual "tests" on the American public adding chemicals to our atmosphere. The government of course is hush hush or they say it's to control the weather. However, any weather broadcaster who mentions the truth has been removed from their jobs. An alarming increase in these tests is provoking more interest and concern from the American public who are looking toward the sky and looking for answers. Only God can make beautiful clouds of nurturing, pure water molecules. Only mankind can destroy all the gifts we've been given.
