darling Cavalier King Charles Spaniel peeking out from antiques in a French Shop Miniature Oil Pet Portrait

"Molly"
7x5 inches / oil on panel
SOLD
Molly is a darling Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves rummaging about Leslie's French Shop in Williamsburg, VA.  (I'll get her shop name / link for you!)  Being an interior designer, she wanted to show as much of her shop as possible in this tiny little portrait.  There will be another somewhat larger portrait of Molly's siblings, Tucker and Jilly coming next week so keep looking!

Thank you SO much, Susan! I tried to show as much of the shop as possible in this miniature portrait. There's so much to see, I'd love to visit, actually. I found the antique French roof tile in the foreground to be quite interesting, too! Tks for your lovely comments!

So very sweet! I am looking forward to seeing the painting with the other spaniels, also set in the shop. So lovely--is the owner going to have the paintings on display in her shop? I'm sure they would draw a lot of interest, especially from other dog lovers. Although I love all dogs, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are a special favorite. There are several in my neighborhood and I always love to watch them walking by.

Than you SO much, Carol! Yes, in fact Leslie will have both paintings displayed in her shop as I expect they'll be a fabulous conversation piece! The Cavaliers are so beautiful but I must admit I haven't actually had the privilede of seeing them in person as you have! I suspect they're quite well mannered especially if browsing amidst valuable antiques....
