Thank you SOO much, Maggie & Mitch! I adore this painting with the soft, tender shades of aqua blending into warm golds and a touch of mauve. Wish I had a clearer image to post here in order to show all the subtleties of Leo's beauty. Your comments are truly heartfelt. Jeanne

Thank you SOOO very much, Rosemary! I always dotingly paint each portrait with love...because I know how truly special that bond is between our animal friends and us. I am especially grateful to receive such a beautiful compliment. Jeanne

Jeanne, your animal portraits are fantastic. I have just spent some time enjoying myself going through them and the landscapes on the other blog. I didn't realise you had other outlets for your creativity as well as those marvellous still lifes. You must be working so hard.

Thankk you SO much, Sheila! I've been exploring other venues, particularly the pet portraits as a portion of every sale is donated to help other animals in need. With the demand for still lifes, I'd neglected my landscape blog but hope now to get back to it again with some fresh ideas on the horizon; no pun intended! Jeanne
